Immunology research group

The CDR is research centre of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Our current areas of research include research on dengue immunology and geospatial mapping of dengue transmission.

Immunology research group

The principal investigator of this group is Dr. Neelika Malavige. The following research projects are carried out in collaboration with Prof. Graham Ogg from University of Oxford and Prof. Ng Mah Lee from National University of Singapore.

  2. Investigating mediators that cause vascular leak in dengue
  3. Innate immune responses in dengue infection
  4. Role of T cells in acute dengue infection
